The requirements:

• Windows PC
• A USB cord.
• MediaTek drivers (VCOM driver | MediaTek driver).
• Smartphone Flash Tools (SP Flash Tools).

Flash Nokia 5.1 Plus (Nokia X5) TA-1102 with SP Flash Tool

1. First, power off/down your smartphone.
2. Locate the Smartphone Flash Tools (SP Flash Tools) you downloaded and extract all the files at once.
3. In the folder you just extracted, find a file named flash_tool.exe, which is the SP Flash Tool, and open/launch it.
4. On Smartphone Flash Tools (SP Flash Tools), make sure you are on the Download tab to proceed.
5. Click on scatter-loading to locate the scatter file that is inside the firmware file you extracted earlier, which will look something like MT6572_Android_scatter.txt.
6. Choose the scatter file, and it will load the whole firmware file to the Smartphone Flash Tools (SP Flash Tools).
7. Be sure to untick the preloader .bin because not doing so could damage your smartphone.
8. You can change the Download Only to another option if you wish so.
9. Click Download, and then connect your smartphone while still off, and do not attempt to power it on.
10. The flashing will begin immediately; drop your phone to avoid interrupting the flashing and bricking your phone.
11. Wait for the flashing to finish, and a Download OK will appear.
12. You can unplug your phone and boot it up. The first boot takes time, so do not panic.

Now that your smartphone is back, you can now enjoy your smartphone.
